The Giants purchased the contract of OF Cole Gillespie. To clear room on the 25-man roster, the team optioned OF Juan Perez. For the 40-man, the team placed OF Angel Pagan on the 60-day DL.
AAA Fresno just swapped Perez for Gillespie on its roster.
AA Richmond activated C Jesus Navarro from the DL. C Brad Moss was then assigned to A Augusta.
A+ San Jose sent 3B Ryan Cavan (on the DL) to AZL Giants for rehab.
A Augusta activated P Martin Agosta on the DL and placed P Stephen Johnson on the 7-day DL.
A- Salem-Keizer placed P Reyes Moronto on the DL, retroactive to July 2.
