Offseason update #2- Lopez resigns; 40-man additons

The Giants re-signed P Javier Lopez officially on 11/26/13.

On November 20, the Giants added OF Gary Brown, P Kendry Flores, 3B Adam Duvall and P Hunter Strickland to the 40-man roster.

On the same day, P Guillermo Moscoso was designated for assignment.

P Tim Hudson was officially added as a free agent on November18.

The Giants also signed the following minor league free agents: P Jason Berken; P Caleb Clay; SS Brandon Hicks and re-signed to minor league contracts P Daryl Maday; P Mason Tobin and C Guillermo Quiroz.

Offseason Update #1

It is the offseason, and here are the latest roster moves:

The Giants declined to pick up the options on P Barry Zito, P Ryan Vogelsong and OF Andres Torres, making them free agents.

P Chad Gaudin and P Javier Lopez are also eligible for free agency.
