More moves for the Giants: they recalled C Hector Sanchez and P Jake Dunning from AAA Fresno. To make room, the team optioned 1B Brett Pill and designated P Ramon Ramirez for assignment.
Fresno has lost two players and gained one, and will play shorthanded (24) for the time being.
The Giants have not announced the roster for Salem-Keizer yet, whose season starts Friday. However, according to the Statesman-Journal, only one draft pick C Eugene Escalante, is expected to be on the team.
