The Giants activated 3B Pablo Sandoval from the DL and recalled P George Kontos. They also optioned Inf Nick Noonan and P Jean Machi. Kontos still has a two-game suspension hanging over his head.
The Grizzlies have not yet announced a corresponding move (they would be one over the 25-man limit).
Richmond activated OF Javier Herrera and are now at 25 men.
