This week the Giants DFA RHP Eric Cordier. He had been on the DL, According to Andrew Baggarly, his elibility on the DL expired, and the team had to make a move.
Also, at Sacramento (AAA):
Placed C Guillermo Quiroz on the DL (retro May 17).
Added C Adam Sonabed and sent him back to extended spring training when C Hector Sanchez joined the team after being optioned by the Giants.
