The Giants have purchased the contracts of INF Matt Duffy and OF Jarrett Parker from Richmond. To clear room on the 40-man (and 25-man), the designated for assignment INF Dan Uggla and OF Tyler Colvin.
Yesterday, Colvin was optioned to Fresno. Today, he is DFA.
Fresno: activated INF Tony Abreu from to the active roster; placed LHP Ryan Bradley on the DL.
Richmond: INF Blake Miller and OF Elliot Blair assigned from San Jose to Richmond. INF Mario Lisson activated from the DL. No corresponding move announced for Lisson.
San Jose: RHP Nick Vander Tuig, OF Tyler Horan and INF Sam Mende assigned from Augusta to San Jose.
Augusta: INF Will Callaway assigned from Salem-Keizer to Augusta; OF Randy Ortiz assigned from AZL Giants to Augusta.
