The Giants purchased the contract of 2B Dan Uggla, two days after joining AAA Fresno. The team also signed INF Tony Abreu to the 25-man roster, less than a week after granting his release from Fresno.
To clear room on the 25-man roster, INF Ehire Adrianza and INF Marco Scutaro were placed on the 15-day DL.
For the spots on the 40-man roster, LHP Jose De Paula and INF Nick Noonan were both designated for assignment.
INF Adalberto Santos was activated to the Fresno roster (technically, he was stashed on the Salem-Keizer roster). No word on who will fill the other roster spot in Fresno for Noonan and Uggla (De Paula was on the DL).
