The Giants optioned OF Tyler Colvin to Fresno. There are rumors that INF Dan Uggla will be released by tomorrow. No word on who the roster replacements are.
OF Angel Pagan was sent to the AZL Giants to start his rehab.
INF Tony Abreu cleared waivers and is outrighted to Fresno. LHP Jose De Paula also cleared and was released. No word on the status of INF Nick Noonan. The MLB transaction page does not list him being claimed by any team.
Fresno: placed C Brad Moss on the DL. I'm not sure what the "injury" is, but my guess is pre-tendinitis. It was reported initially that he was placed on the extended roster Tuesday, but he lasted through Wednesday on the main roster.
LHP Dan Runzler was released.
No word on who will make room for Colvin and Abreu.
San Jose: activated RHP Martin Agosta from the DL. Also, RHP William Simpson, RHP Kendry Melo and LHP Garret Hughes, who were all listed on the AZL roster are now listed on San Jose's DL.
AZL: RHP Tyler Beede (1st round pick) assigned to AZL Giants.
