The Giants placed P Ryan Vogelsong and P Santiago Casilla on the 15-day DL. They recalled P Sandy Rosario and 1B Brett Pill from AAA Fresno. Pill spent less than 10 days on his optional assignment, but is allowed to be recalled in less than 10 days because he is replacing an injured player.
The Grizzlies filled one spot, transferring Inf Juan Ciriaco back from Richmond (he was transferred to Richmond before Monday's game, and never really left. Richmond never announced a corresponding move, and now it is probably moot). The other roster spot has not been announced.
