After acquiring pitcher Jose Mijares on waivers from KC, the team activated him Tuesday night. He wears #50. To clear a spot on the 25-man roster, the team placed P Shane Loux back on the DL with a "neck strain."
The Giants don't have to make a move for the 40-man roster since they were down to 39 after DFA Emmanuel Burris in last week's Hunter Pence trade.
